1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GT 390 V8 4V 4 speed manual

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback GT 289 V8 4 Speed

Original A code GT 4 speed (check Marti Report for verification). Original motor and trans gone, now has early 302 V8 with hipo accessories to suit rebuild Late model T5, 5 speed manual now in GT. This fastback is a major project with rusty floor pans, also needs right hand quarter replaced, has damaged rocker panel on left side. All new parts supplied with car to do repairs - see photos. All glass missing but this is available new. Very solid structure - no frame rust and is a Californian car. Fastback is well worth restoring and is a valuable GT finished. Most of original options still fitted including tacho dash ($1200 to buy).

Original S Code big block 390 V8 GTA with matching numbers engine and correct C6 trans. This Fastback has all the options so check Marti Report for full list. Good honest body,there has been a quarter panel replaced on drivers side - somewhat average job. Fastback does run and drive - has a good strong original motor, but Mustang will need work for RWC. Also has correct styled steel wheels. Fastbacks do not come much better than this 1967, S Code, top exterior colour (Candyapple Red) with the best interior colour (full Deluxe Red). Super Fastback finished and definitely one of the best looking bodies on the planet (hard to believe that Ford created this shape 40 years ago)

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback 390 V8 S Code GTA Auto

Another original S Code 390 GTA for restoration. This is a very well optioned big block GTA (for full list see Marti Report).

Options include:

Fastback has a correct GT 390 bone stock engine out of a 1968 GT 390 Mustang. Good strong motor - fastback is a half decent driver - has 4 speed pedals in place but correct auto pedal is provided. Tired exterior and interior but a very solid and rust free Nevada Fastback - has some surface rust on floors, a few minor roof dings and minor damage to cowl vent grills (new cowl provided). 390 GTA fastbacks are getting harder and harder to source - there is much competition for these models from home grown dealers. This is a high dollar car when completed.

Note fold down rear seat is perfect with no cut interior panels.
